It’s that time of year again! Clutter Gallery is holding Giftwrapped’s 2016 installment opening December 10th at Clutter Gallery. I’ve contributed a new 3″ dunny to the show, “Fauno” who will be available through Clutter Gallery directly.
New original artwork is coming to Sally Centigrade Gallery.
Visit The Toy Chronicle booth for new hand painted custom toys I have contributed to this year’s ToyCon UK. Get your tickets here.
I’ve been enjoying working on a couple new cutie little custom dunny. These are “Black Cherry Betty” (above) and “Luna”. They’re both painted in acrylics, with some aspects being airbrushed glazing layers.
I’ve been working on airbrushing for a couple of applications recently. My painted toys have been hand-painted for things like ombre colour fading and glazing in other instances. I’m sure I’ll continue to brush paint primarily, but these juicy black cherry gloss ears Betty has were just too good not to try for.
Both pieces “Black Cherry Betty” and “Luna” are now live on my eStore here. Thank you for your support!
I’m returning to DesignerCon Booth 1033, shared jointly with my Co-Conspirator Deth Becomes You, and bringing with me lots of new artwork, prints, resin & custom toys.
I’ve sculpted new Sleepymouse brooches, which will be offered with pin backings or as necklace pendents. 10 hand-painted Sleepymouse brooches will be available at my booth 1033 along with some single colour resin versions.
Of the 10 hand-painted brooches, some are painted with iridescent or metallic paints. Each piece is 1-of-a-kind, and will retail between $35 for brooches and $55 for pendents on handmade necklaces.
Also debuting at DCon are my original sculpt 2.5″ NoDrama Llamas. These resin cuties are fluffy and adorable, and ain’t got no time for drama! 1-of hand painted colorways will be available for $30ea, and single colour unpainted resin versions will be $18ea.
I will have a very few hand-painted vinyl toys available at my DCon booth 1033. One painted Android Mini, titled “Ribbon Candy”, will be $85.
Also at DCon will be a little collection of Five Nights At Freddy’s inspired Micro Munnyworld & 3″ Dunny. Foxy is a fond favourite 😉
I will have a collection of small oil on wood panel original paintings on display and available at my DCon table. These will range in price from $300-450ea. Among them will be new pieces such as “Thread Puller” and “I Used To Be Funny”.
Some fine art prints will be available, along with goodies like button sets and stickers. Stay tuned for news on collaborative releases together with my co-conspirator, Deth Becomes You, debuting at DCon 2015!
Come visit my booth 1033, and if you can’t make it to the show, stay tuned for the launch of my new eStore after DesignerCon. Thanks for looking!

I have 2 pieces submitted for Twisted Mickey, including 3″ Dunny “Five Nights At The House Of Mouse”. I took inspiration from a horror game series I’ve been enjoying immensely since last summer, Five Nights At Freddy’s. While not an exact recreation, I’ve had creepy homicidal animatronics on the brain!
Also for Twisted Mickey is a 4×6″ Oil on Wood panel painting “Hide And Squeak”. I was keen to paint a more realistic mouse version too- Mickey’s version of being a real mouse.
Both pieces will be available through PIQ March 14th.
Nov 8-9 Visit Urban Vinyl Daily booth 921 to view the Dead As Fck 2 artworks. I will contribute a hand-painted resin Dead Bearchamp.
This Saturday, November 8th, “For The Love Of Music” group exhibition opens at Flower Pepper Gallery. I’ve completed a 12×12″ acrylic painting on linen canvas, titled “A World Inbetween (Skyberry)”. I will be in attendance during opening night at Flower Pepper Gallery, so if you’re in the neighborhood, stop in!
For The Love Of Music is themed around music albums and artwork. Visually, the painting riffs off of Creature Feature’s “The Greatest Show Unearthed” cover. Though I did listen to a lot of Rufus Rex “Dead Beat” – specifically ‘Worlds Inbetween” . While my piece is not a literal visual reinterpretation of the albums, I feel as though the underlying themes and mood in some of the music informs the piece; a tension between hopefullness and hopelessness, playfulness and sadness, and the contrast in levity (bright colours) and darker (visual + thematic) undertones.
